Earlier this year I got the opportunity to jump on board a seriously cool venture called FleaStyle! If you haven’t heard about them (us) or checked us out, you must! Before this past June, FleaStyle was known for putting on awesome shows with tons of vintage, handmade, local artists and vendors. After much success in that, FleaStyle decided to put a brick and mortar shop in Deep Ellum, Dallas! IT’S AWESOME. I get to work at FleaStyle part-time and I love.it. You’ll hear me give shout-outs on the blog because so much of my clothes and goods now come from FS!

My life may look like I’m just doing all the creative stuff all the time, but I did go to school and I did work a real job! I worked in communications and public relations for several years before heading off to Guatemala and then returning to pursue a different track. I often times forget that I did the whole suit and heels, meetings and timesheets thing- but I am so glad that I did. Not only did I love it but also, it felt good to put my big girl pants on work in the field I went to school for. Nowadays I mostly just wear ripped jeans and stretchy pants and that’s okay with me!
I LOVE pancakes at any time of day… IDK why
It’s a fact. And I do, I just do. I don’t know why but pancakes have a special place in my heart… Here’s a great lil’ recipe 🙂
Enneagram is my jam.
And if it’s your jam too then you’re my instant best friend! I’m a…. Drumroll please…. 7! YAY for all the sevens of the world! And yay all you other numbers too! Haha TBH learning about Enneagram opened a whole new world for me and really helped me understand myself and inner motives/actions. It allowed me to work through some yucky stuff that comes from living abroad in a third world country and definitely helped speed up the healing process. It’s awesome.
