I've been watching him from my bedroom window all winter long. For months I seriously thought he wasn't gonna make it. He was brown, dull, and completely bent over. I was positive he was going to break. BUT THEN... As with any good story, his story doesn't end there. I ventured out today and I couldn't help but smile at the fact that this guy is now sturdy, green and strong (and very pokey) but also that it's birthing new life (see the new little buds?!).. what a good story. . .
