Blanket inspiration - My faves this season
Agh! I’m having that feeling again! You know the one where you just want to buy yarn and yarn and yarn and make blankets for all the orphans in the world!! Yep, that feeling hits me at this time of year and I normally rush to my closet and pull out my crochet hook but I’m trying to hold back a little this time. Actually, I was recently at my local craft store and I saw that they were having an amazing sale on that really fat, chunky soft yarn. I almost bought it all, but I had to hold myself back. SO- I don’t have a blanket to show you guys right now, but hopefully (fingers crossed) pretty soon I will.
That doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy other peoples blankies 🙂 Here are some of my top fav that I’ve seen around the block. They are definitely inspiring me for whatever I’m about to create!
Let’s start with A Beautiful Mess’s Pom-Pom Blanket DIY:
Gorge isn’t it?? I love anything with chunky pom-poms!! This tutorial shows you how to add them to any blanket you may have.
How about this amazing huge throw by Midknits???
Midknits sells the pattern to this blanket- and best part of all is that it’s Crochet! Which goes way faster than knitting, if you ask me 😉
Next, let’s marvel at this simple yet so cheery tassel throw by Tell Love and Party!
Adding some colors to a neutral makes a great statement! Follow the tutorial and you’ll be in love!
And how about this super sweet baby blankie by Little House Living? I have a BB shower to go to soon…hmmm 🙂
Fleece is always simple and so soft! Perfect for any newborn.
Here’s a beautiful blanket quilt tutorial by See Kate Sew - I love clean look of this quilt!
I haven’t gathered enough courage to sew a quilt yet, but maybe this might just be the season. Thankfully this blanket is complete with a great tutorial.
And last but not least, my ultimate blanket envy! How amazing does this look!!
Love this! It’s a DIY blanket by Anna Mo featured on Fab Art DIY and it’s divine 🙂
So, I’m not sure yet but I know I’ll be making something warm and cozy soon AND I know that whatever I do make will fit perfectly on my DIY Copper Pipe Blanket Holder, haha. Do you have any fav blanket you’d like to share?
