5 ways to use eyeliner as a costume!

One makeup bag.Two hours. Three eyeliners. 5 Looks! Yep, last Saturday I played around with my makeup and came up with these super duper easy costume makeup looks for those last minute gals that haven’t decided what they want to be for the holiday! Thankfully you can make these looks with stuff you already have in your makeup bag. You’ll just need to be creative and use lots of eyeliner! Read: LOTS of eyeliner! These are eyeliner costumes!

Drum roll please, let’s start with the easiest look:

1.The Robber

This is by far the easiest look you can do! Just outline your eyes with pencil eyeliner first. Fill the mask in with the eyeliner that comes in a little pot, and rub it all in. Lastly outline the mask with liquid liner, and you’re good!

Add a prop and beanie and your basically done 🙂

2. Catwoman

So we all know that Catwoman is a super popular costume for us ladies, but I really simplified the Catwoman look by just making the mask with eyeliner AND making my cat “ears” out of my hair!

Let the mask completely envelope your eyebrows. To make your “ears” just tease your hair a little, pin each side back and add peaks by pulling in the middle until you think they look triangle enough :).

Add some fancy regular eyeliner to your eyes and tadaa, a super simple Catwoman look. It helps if you’re holding a cat but my cat was nowhere to be found when I needed him! Of course!

3. Batgirl

Alright, if you have Catwoman you gotta have Batgirl, right? And just like the last two looks, this one is simple but requires a steady hand.

Make the outline of the bat mask with soft pencil eyeliner. This proves to be a lot easier to readjust when you make a mistake. Bring the line around your eyes and into the creases of your lids.

Fill in with the liquid eyeliner and smudge, smudge, smudge! Outline with liquid liner to define and you’re done!

4. Maleficent

This one is a little more extreme, lol, but still simple to do! Again, I used my hair as those pointy peaks that Maleficent has. Tease more so that they stand up a little higher, and pull and pin until you get the look you want!

Add some really thick black eyebrows along with a LOT of purple eyeshadow! Use your pencil eyeliner to make the widow’s peak that Maleficent has and fill it in.

If you feel like going all out, get some greenish body paint and use that on your face first! I didn’t but when I saw how it could have looked I thought it was awesome!

5. Deer

And lastly, the ever popular Deer look! I couldn’t make this list without including it!

I was going to use some actual face paint, but I realized that you can use a super light concealer and it’ll work just as well for the white parts. Actually, it works better than paint since the paint tends to dry and crack (as my friend Kelsea and I found out when she taught me how to do this look!).

Follow the lines with liquid paint, and fill in the nose, forehead area, top of cheeks with a light concealer. Blend it all in and then add the white dots on your forehead and cheeks.

Lastly use whatever you’d like for some ears! I found these small Magnolia leaves and stuck em in a headband. Done!

You don’t have an excuse! You can make 5 looks with a lot of eyeliner and other stuff found in your regular makeup bag! 🙂
